We are two independent, Relate-trained counsellors, providing relationship and couples counselling in Nairn.
We provide help to both individuals and couples to improve their relationships, whether you are in a marriage, part of a couple, single, separating or divorced. A counsellor can also help if you are struggling with other relationships such as parents, friends, or family.
You may be looking at our website because you are unhappy, concerned, frustrated or angry and you want some help and support; or perhaps the COVID-19 'lock-down' may have highlighted existing issues in your relationships that you could have easily 'papered over', or simply ignored, during normal circumstances.
The issues we can help with are typically around:
- feeling of ‘growing apart’
- sex and intimacy
- parenting and family dynamics
- affairs
- relationships from the past
- bereavement
- physical and mental health
Use the links below to find out more about who we are, what we do, how we can help, how to get in touch and how to find us...
During counselling, individuals or couples are helped to talk openly and honestly and to think through an issue, or to work through a problem. The counsellor is trained to help people to understand themselves better and to help them make their own decisions about what to do next.

We are professionally qualified counsellors, each with over ten years experience working with both individuals and couples and specialising in relationship issues. We trained at the Relate Institute and are members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) – we are fully qualified, undertake regular supervision and CPD training and work to recognised standards.
(BACP accreditation is recognised UK-wide by the Professional Standards Authority and is the equivalent to COSCA accreditation in Scotland. Relationships Scotland was setup as a sister company to Relate in 2006).
